Sarah Morgan is an entrepreneur with a fresh perspective on innovation, leveraging her Masters Thesis in LED Lighting and Biomimicry, with applied commercial manufacturing experience. She is the CEO & Founder of Nano-Lit Technologies; a company focused on next generation lighting using Quantum Dots and Advanced Manufacturing. Her previous role as a Lecturer in design for the Space Industry won her an Innovation award.


After graduating from Stanford with a degree in Computer Science, Derek Gaw developed software at Amazon and Zynga for nearly a decade. In 2013, he created MakerLabs, then in 2017 came on as CTO for Nano-Lit Technologies to oversee the development of the company's technology and strategic plan.




Hans Koome spent a decade building AkzoNobel's coatings industry serving the Aerospace, Automotive and Consumer Electronics industries. At Nano-Lit he is responsible for the execution of strategic go-to-market models, translating strategy into manufacturing and supply chain development and execution. His background spans R&D, through manufacturing and marketing providing a full view of the product development life cycle. 

WEndy (Stimson) de Gomez  

Chief data officer

Wendy de Gomez has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, a Masters of Environmental Studies in Human Geography, and a Specialization Certificate in Population Health Data Analysis. Her career has focussed on the nexus between institutional, human, and environmental interactions in the political and health policy fields. She is passionate about evidence-based research and knowledge transfer.


Industrial Designer

Tammy is a product designer and graduate student. She is experienced in new product design, as well as updating existing digital products. She worked with the director of California Technology Lighting Center, in redesigning lighting fixtures for the UC Davis Shields Library, from initial conceptualization to final realization. 

Eli Muro

Interaction Designer 

Innovative conceptual thinker experienced in UX and digital interface design. Ranging from mobile app design to sensor based environments, Eli has helped to create class leading solutions. With a Bachelors in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University, his work focuses on the critical interface between people and technology, whether it be in user experience, research, or interactive spaces.

Sanja (Morris) Moll


Sanja founded the Salt Yard group of restaurants in 2005.  In 2014 she sold the majority of her shares to a private equity company, and now holds a non-executive director position.

In partnership with her sister, Sanja set up LeCoq rotisserie in North London and now splits her time between London and Edinburgh.  Sanja is also a business angel with Investing Women.

Robert is the CEO & Owner of En Motoren Nijmegen BV.  EN Motoren is specialised in the production of electric motors for industrial use. 



Christopher Brown is the CEO of Wiedenbach-Brown, a national full-service lighting and electrical solutions distributor. Prior to the company’s acquisition by USESI in 2006, he was President and Chairman of the board for 30 years. He witnessed the company grow from a New York metropolitan-area lamp and luminaire distributor, to a national full-service lighting and electrical solutions provider.  Wiedenbach-Brown has relationships with hundreds of clients, and more than 300 lighting manufacturers.

Retired from PPG's Coatings Innovation Center as Senior Scientist and Director of Nanotechnology and New Color Development from 1999 – 2016. Eastman Kodak Company research in thermal printing, image stability and instant photography from 1978 -1999. B.A., M.A. at Cambridge University, Ph.D. In Physical Organic Chemistry at Northwestern University, postdoctorals at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the California Institute of Technology.  Expertise in nanotechnology, thermal plasma, coatings, color, imaging and chemistry. Holds over 60 US patents.
